TIGERS SQUAD SL9

Curtis Doolan, closely followed by Yevgeniy Kashentsev on their way to a 5-1 in the KOC Final
CURTIS DOOLAN 23 10.55 (Start of Season 8.83) Scotland
HOME CMA 11.42 AWAY CMA 9.73 (Maximums 17)
WORLD CHAMPION, OVERSEAS FINAL WINNER, DIVISION 2 RIDERS CHAMPIONSHIP WINNER.
A fantastic season for the 22 year old Scot, culminated in him being crowned World Champion in Krakow, Poland. A magnificent series of performances in all 5 GP's meant it was fully deserved in his debut season. His progress from "junior with potential" to "World Champion" in 3 years has been nothing short of astounding. All being well, we hope he will make the GP's again next season and be there to defend his crown. On the domestic front, Curtis didn't let his Grand Prix commitments affect his league form at all. He improved his GSA to 10.55, with a phenomenal Home CMA of 11.42. Riding at No.5, he consistently came up against the best of all the other teams riders, and was never fazed or overawed. Brilliant performances included his scores in the 4TT Final and his 14pt haul in the KOC Final win against Division 1 Champs, Eastbourne. Will Captain the side again in SL9.

"Mr Consistent" powers his way to another 3 points.
TAMOS JUHAR 33 9.37 (Start of Season 10.82) HUNGARY
HOME CMA 10.20 AWAY CMA 8.60 (Maximums 5)
Signed from Washington Rebels for £100,000 at the start of the season, Tamos has been a vital part of our Championship winning team. His experience and guidance has proved invaluable to our young squad. Proved to be a perfect foil for Curtis Doolan, he is looking forward to riding in Division 1 next year.

Gerry Howard, finding the grip on the outside.
GERRY HOWARD 24 8.50 (Start of Season 7.18) ENGLAND
HOME CMA 9.14 AWAY CMA 7.84 (Maximums 2)
Signed from Walsall Swifts for £125,000 at the start of the season. An outstanding season for Gerry, maintaining his progress at Brickhill, and developing into an accomplished performer. Will be looking to maintain that progress next year as he steps up into the third heatleader role vacated by Yevgeniy Kashentsev. A crowd favourite, Gerry will also be hoping to establish himself on the International stage this season.

Alistair Rees in action for the Rebels last season.
ALISTAIR REES 24 6.39 (Start of season 6.58) ENGLAND
HOME CMA 7.59 AWAY CMA 5.06
Spent last season on loan at Washington Rebels, and helped them gain promotion to Division 2. A talented rider, we are glad to have him back in the squad this year.

Gerry Ashton down at the start.
GERRY ASHTON 23 3.54 (Start of season 3.74) ENGLAND
HOME CMA 4.20 AWAY CMA 2.92
Signed from Margate in a swap deal midway through last season. Gerry is a rider of immense ability who we have been tracking for a while now. When the oppurtunity arose to sign him, we didn't hestitate. He wasn't enjoying his spell at Margate and it has taken a while to regain his confidence and enthusiasm, but we hope that this season he will show the Brickhill fans his talent.

Paul Bailey in Academy league action.
PAUL BAILEY 18 3.33 (Start of Season 3.00) ENGLAND
HOME CMA 3.84 AWAY CMA 2.82
An exciting youngster whom we hope can emulate the achievements of our other homegrown star, Curtis Doolan. Technically excellent, despite his young age, Paul scored well on several occasions last year. Will benefit from extensive coaching this season.
RESERVES
Both Daz Collett and Alan Gregg featured sporadically in the first team last season. Despite both having plenty of ability, they struggled riding at No.7. Without improvement they will find their first team opportunities limited, especially with the recent signings of Edward Douglas and Richard Love, who both looked good in pre season.
